AI video generation
Text to video, image to video and sketch to video, using the Seedance models (2.5 is the newest, with 2.0 also available) inside Dreamina.
For work Short marketing clips, product and ad video, and social content.
Native audio and longer clips
Seedance 2.5 generates sound with the footage, supports up to around thirty-second clips, accepts many reference inputs and holds product detail and text steady across frames.
For work Ads and e-commerce clips where a logo or on-screen text must stay legible.
AI image generation
Text to image with several models, plus restyle, remix and upscale, in the same workspace.
For work Thumbnails, concept art and the still images you feed into a video.
Talking avatars
Turns a photo into an avatar and drives it with text-to-speech to make a spokesperson-style video without filming.
For work Explainer and social videos where you do not want to be on camera.
Best for
Short social clips, concept and mood pieces, and quick visual drafts, where a rough but fast take beats a slow perfect one.
Not for
Anything presented as real footage, anything about a real person or event, or work where a client expects filmed, rights-cleared material.
Real work with it
A small-business owner
A product ad clip from a single photo
- Upload a clear photo of the product.
- Use image to video with a short prompt describing the camera move.
- Generate a six to ten second clip and export it.
Human checkpoint Watch for warped logos, hands or text, confirm you own the rights to everything shown, and check any on-screen claim is true.
A marketer
Social variations from one concept
- Generate a strong hero image.
- Feed it as a reference into Seedance for several motion variants.
- Pick the best cut for each platform.
Human checkpoint Decide which output is on-brand and physically plausible, and confirm no real person's face was used.

The part that stays yours
Taste is the whole job here. Storyboarding, choosing the shot that carries the idea, checking nothing misleads, and disclosing that a clip is AI-generated are yours; the model only makes the pixels.
When to pick something else
Google Veo
You need the most realistic footage and reliable audio sync, and enterprise trust matters. The safer, pricier pick.
Runway
You want a mature creative toolchain with strong reference and camera control for image-to-video.
Kling
You want stylised, longer multi-shot storytelling and complex human motion from a still, at lower cost.
OpenAI Sora
Never, now: the app was discontinued in April 2026 and the API closes in September 2026. Migrate any Sora dependency off.
Watch-outs
- Generating video from images or footage containing real faces is restricted, and improper use of other people's intellectual property is blocked.
- Output carries an invisible watermark for tracing once it leaves the platform.
- Commercial rights are not automatic: the default terms are for private use, and commercial use needs the right paid tier and compliance with the feature's policy. Clear every asset, brand, face and distribution right yourself.
- Credits are shared across video, image and editing and drain fast, and higher resolutions cost far more, so a free or small plan runs out quickly.
- Seedance 2.5's official price list was not published at review time, so budget with caution.
